Cellphone Mount Pictures

This is just some pictures of a way I mounted my cellphone on my bike. In the end the solution was simple but getting just the right mount and just the right belt clip was the key. I drilled a hole in the mount just big enough to put the tooth catch from the belt clip through. The clip then closes around the mount and the clip is pushed all the way up against the mount to keep it from moving side to side. I didn't want to destroy the clip in case I wanted to use it but I've found that putting another clip on my belt is easier than taking this one on and off. The belt clip is a ratcheting one and it locks the phone into place. You can press the release button on the bottom of the clip to release the phone and use the ratcheting part to put the phone in any position you want it. I also hooked up the phone to the bike via the line in on the stereo, the intercom, and a lot of cabling. I also put in a power cord for it which means I never have to worry about it being low on juice during a trip and I don't have to worry about charging the phone at night.
